Piezowave Therapy

What is it and what is used for?

Piezowave therapy is a non-invasive treatment that uses high-energy sound waves generated by piezoelectric crystals to stimulate the body's natural    healing, increase blood flow, and reduce pain in musculoskeletal issues like tendinitis, plantar fasciitis, tennis elbow, chronic back pain, and scar tissue.

The treatment delivers focused acoustic waves through the skin using a handheld device, promoting cellular repair and tissue regeneration, with minimal discomfort and no significant side effects.

WHAT IS A TREATMENT LIKE?
The machine emits a subtle tapping noise and when it passes over damaged or dehydrated tissues you can feel an aching sensation. We use different silicone attachments to target different depths based on the site of the injury. The aching sensation usually dissipates within 1-2 minutes. Total treatment time per area is 12 minutes or less.

TYPICAL COURSE OF TREATMENT
Each person and treatment area is different. Some cases resolve with 1-3 treatments while other chronic cases or deep joint inflammation can take 6-10 sessions to resolve.
